Alight logo

when creating a logo I liked the the hand made type that I tried out in my sketchbook but also liked the colour in the light images shown earlier on my blog, so to combine them both I used an app to draw the word alight in bright colours.

I tried to apply the light images to the drawings I did earlier in the project.

These images show how I used the light photographs to combine the performers that will be involved in the Alight festival.

I like this one because it light 'Alight's the image of the singer

here I looked at the idea of the festival targeting friends and family of the
performers in the festival

I used silhouette images of dancers to reflect some of the acts in the Alight festival.

 

I took this image and using photoshop created just an outline and then over layed
the lights image and cut away the rest of the image in the background so that it looks
like the lights are sat inside the image.

Using the same technique as before, I overlayed the word Alight onto the same image but this time I got rid of the image from around the text to create a range of colours inside the text.

I started to add borders to the edges of the text to define the
text and make it stand out from the image but at the same time
blend in with the it to create an identity.
